UTILITIES
- THC-SCAN v 2.0 The best war dialing/scanning program there is (the most current version the last time I checked).
- THC Login Hacker v. 1.1. Another nifty program that THC wrote. You can write a script that brute forces a login prompt. Only useful if you know a vaild username. Download and read the documentation.
- GLIDE.EXE A badass program that will crack Windows 95 *.PWL files. I recommend reading glide.htm before you download this.
- PWL_KEY.ZIP This program offers guaranteed decryption of the older *.PWL files from Windows 3.11 and Windows 95 (OEM1). The instructions are in Russian so if anyone feels like translating, then drop me an e-mail. I should also mention that I have only gotten intermittent results using this program so use it at your own risk.
- PWL.EXE Another decent program that will crack Windows 95 *.PWL files. I recommend reading glide.htm before you download this.
- PWLHACK.ZIP The latest and greatest from the same author of PWL.EXE. PWLHACK can crack both OEM1 and OSR2 encrypted *.PWL files. This program is freeware. The reason I have included both PWL.EXE and PWLHACK is because PWL.EXE comes with a sample *.PWL file that you can use to test both of these programs. The *.PWL file I speak of is called user.pwl, has the username user, and the correct password should be SIMPLE. Enjoy.
- PWLCRACK.ZIP Another useful tool for gathering password information in Windows 95. I recommend reading glide.htm before you download this.
- SHAREPW.EXE Yet another useful tool for analyzing password data from the Windows 95 registry.
- W95KLOG.ZIP This awesome little program can be used to harvest passwords in Windows 3.1, 3.1x, 95, and 98. It runs extremely well hidden. Definitely try this one.
- Mkey.exe This program has the ability to crack a password for access to a share on a Windows network via brute force or dictionary attack. When I tested it, it froze up a few times so there might be some bugs still in this program, but it does work. As far as I know, it won't work on an NT share so don't bother. I don't know whether or not it will work on a Netware share so if you get it to work on a Netware network, then let me know. And no, I didn't write it.
- Cult of the Dead Cow This web site should have the latest version of a program called Back Orifice. This program can be EXTREMELY useful if your Windows 95/98 network is configured for TCP/IP. They also have a plugin for Back Orifice called ButtSniffer. The ButtSniffer program can sniff IP and ethernet frames (very useful in a Netware environment). Definitely check this out. I would have this file available for direct download from this site, but there is no way I can keep the latest up to date version of the program on this site. Besides, I don't know what the folks at the Cult of the Dead Cow would think of me if I were distributing their program around.
- Pwltool There are two programmers at this site that sell a program called Pwltool for $40. "This program will allow you to restore occasionally forgotten or lost passwords for Windows 3.11, Windows 95 (both original and OSR2), and WIN'98. Also you will be able to look through all the passwords stored in the PWL file if you know the password for this file and the user name." I haven't tested this program, but it is supposed to be able to conduct a brute force crack at about 50,000 passwords per second. I honestly don't know if it is worth the $40 dollars, but if you decide to register and get it, e-mail me and let me know how it performs.
- all-access.exe This program can be used to acquire Microsoft Access passwords for *.MDB files that have been created using Access '97 and possibly even Access 2000. I believe the encryption scheme is the same for both '97 and 2000, but I don't know because I haven't been able to test it myself. If you can get this program to work on Microsoft Access 2000 password protected databases, then drop me a line and let me know.
Disclaimer: The author of these documents (me) can't be held responsible for any stupid thing you do with them. If you are ballsy enough to implement the information located here, then when you are caught you can't say I made you do it. In other words, if you're an idiot, you can't blame me. I want everyone to know who has seen this material that I don't necessarily recommend you hack your school or university. Of course, I don't say not to either. If you have intelligence in academics, then use that to get through school. Do not hack if you are an A student. If your only knowledge is the knowledge you have picked up here or at a site similar to this one, then you are stupid and you will probably need to hack your school anyway. If you are a super genius of some kind, then use a little of both. Have fun (getting caught that is).
I DON'T DO REQUESTS! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SEND E-MAIL ASKING ME TO DO YOUR DIRTY WORK FOR YOU! E-MAIL OF THIS NATURE IS PROMPTLY DELETED! SUCH REQUESTS ARE A WASTE OF TIME, SO DON'T BOTHER!
This hit counter is only here for my personal amusement. This is how many people are interested in hacking their institution of learning.
If you have any texts regarding hacking into schools or universities, getting around restricted workstations, any hacking stories you might know (yes, you can remain anonymous if you wish to submit a story), or anything else related to hacking your institution of learning, then please send it to me at m2mike@yahoo.com. You will be given the credit you deserve if I decide to use what you send.
By the way, if you would like to copy or distribute this material in any way, just include my handle, m2mike, somewhere in the material. That is all I ask if you would like to spread this stuff around. Specifically, if you would like to distribute anything with my copyright on it, just leave it the way it is. That's it. Thank you for your time.
